About This Event

Interested in eating healthier over the holidays, but not sure where to start? Join us to learn more about the Mediterranean Diet! Staying healthy is important at any age. Research has shown that good health not only gives us more energy and endurance but also plays an important role in preventing major causes of illness such as heart disease, some cancers, diabetes, and obesity. Join us for an introductory tour through the seven simple steps of eating the “Med Way”, while we are entering into the holiday season. Explore ways to leverage the holiday season to eat the Med Way. Get tips on how to power up your plate daily, with food choices that promote health, are simple to prepare, and pop with flavors. Get to sample a delicious recipe! 90‑minute presentation with a full food demonstration and tasting. To register: EventBrite
