About This Event

Join us for our monthly Teen Book Club at the Crestview Public Library! This program is open to teens in grades 6–12 who enjoy reading, sharing ideas, and exploring new books. May's book: The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton June's book: Ready Player One by Ernest Cline (Chapters 1-17) July's book: Ready Player One by Ernest Cline (Chapters 18-the end) August's book: Scythe by Neal Shusterman Each month, participants will: Discuss the previous month’s book selection Share thoughts, opinions, and favorite moments Help choose the next book we will read together Teens are encouraged to suggest future book selections by emailing Travis at tadams@readokaloosa.org. All submissions will be reviewed by library staff to ensure they are appropriate for the group. Important Information: Open to students in grades 6–12 Ages 15 and younger must have a completed participation letter signed by a parent or guardian (see attached form) Book selections may occasionally include complex or mature themes, and participation is always voluntary Our goal is to create a welcoming space where teens can read widely, think critically, and engage in respectful discussions with their peers
