About This Event
A person can pick up a life skill at any age but the earlier they start the more they get out of it. Learning life skills takes time, the journey is just as important at the destination. These skills can build and improve upon focus, attention to detail, and confidence.
FALL's life skill is Crochet.
We will focus on learning how to crochet on a flat. We will start with teaching chain stitches and how to work your crochet stitches back and forth. The kids will use what they learn to work their way through creating a basic scarf that they can take pride in wearing that is completely 100% self-made.
The class is set for forty-five minutes to take into consideration a child's attention span as building focus takes time and patience. Follow up sessions to complete their project will be held monthly. Crochet is not a skill learned and perfected in one sitting. If they would like to work on their project on their own outside of class, please note that we are unable to send our supplies home with them.
