DESCRIPTION:Join us for this exciting quarterly author series for homeschoo
 lers! Created by professional educators with the non-profit One Word at a 
 Time\, Inc.\, this class will consist of a presentation\, writing activiti
 es\, and a virtual livestream with Kwame Alexander and popular midgrade an
 d teen authors. The livestream includes book talks\, writing lessons\, and
  a live Q&A session. The special guest author for December is #1 New York 
 Times bestselling graphic novelist\, Raina Telgemeier. This program is rec
 ommended for students ages 8 to 14 years old. Registrants must be present 
 in the branch to access the presentation. \n\nEach child must register for
  each session individually in order to participate. Students who are regis
 tered and do not show up without notifying the library in advance may forf
 eit their spot in future sessions. Students are welcome to bring a bagged 
 lunch or snacks. Caregivers are welcome to stay for the presentation as we
 ll. Educational materials will be provided to students during the program
